Some midi loft beds that have storage come with the desk already integrated into the bunk (as shown in the image above), while others like our Luna Midi Bunk have the ladder positioned on the right hand side, so that the desk can be positioned on the left (please inquire in the store, by phone or put this in the comments section when checking out in case this is important to you).
It is important to note that the majority of midi loft beds that have desks require the use of a standard UK single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) with a wooden slatted base. The price of the bed does not include the mattress. We suggest looking through our mattress deals to find one that will fit your budget.

Mattress
Most midi beds can accommodate standard UK single mattresses and the top bunk comes with a safety rail to give you extra peace of mind. Some models have a pull-out trundle drawer that can be used for sleepovers, or to add more storage space under the bed. They can be open or fitted with doors (please check the product details for more information).
Many midi cabins include desks that can be moved between the two upper levels or chests of drawers. This gives children a customized space to store all their belongings, meaning that there's no need to take the floor space by putting up bulky wardrobes or shelving units.
A few models have even taken it a step further with cabinet-style storage that is flush mounted or a part of the headboard/footboard. This is perfect for storing toys and books.
